Hurrah!

SHIFTED will become reality on Friday 11th June when we collaborate with the almighty DUB PACK at Brixton Jamm.

I'm in the midst of securing all sorts of freebies and entertainment for the night to give to you guys!! I'll post about them as and when confirmed!!

We've also decided to dissociate from the 'Corporate' brainstorm, COP, AOB, ASAP way of running and instead of there being a cold 'us & you' situation, it's important, for the good of humanity (the part that soley relies on fun-filled frolics) that everyone's involved.

Cast your mind back skipping the work filled days and TV filled evenings, SURELY your most memorable night out wasn't one where you sat in the corner, mute with just a bottle of water for company (although saying that, I'm sure there are a few memorable nights featuring that scenario for some of you ;)) No, the amazing memorable nights are generally ones where you feel involved. Not just included but a hugely (important) cog in the mass of harmonising vibration among those present. Comfort yet excitement. Connection yet independence. Am I waffling? Let's pull it back (one time).

Typically those aged 25+ will tell you (without much prompting) how 'friendly' everyone was when they used to go raving, sharing water bottles, cigarettes, life stories, coming home with 25 new phone numbers stored in their Nokia 5110's complementing the flashing aerials. They'd dance with strangers, hug the bar staff and be filled with freedom to enjoy the music, the experience without stushness, attitude or the 'have you got a pound?' 'trick'

That's what I want!! love Princess Nikki, aged 24. =) We're starting Shifted to bring enjoyment, opportunity and sheer childish fun to anyone involved, I need you guys!

This is the first task of the treasure hunt I'm asking for help with:

Meet...

?

The amazingly talented (and very witty) Nick Deakin designed this currently somewhat banana resembling little guy to represent Shifted. Fun, arty and a blatent geek-chic-swagger about him but he needs a name, any ideas?

HE NEEDS A NAME!!

help a homegirl out..? =) whoever names him will have their name +1 on the guestlist for Shifted @ Brixton Jamm, 11th June. e-mail me!
